Shipping & Local Delivery Policy – Emberly Bakery
At Emberly Bakery, every order is handmade fresh in small batches in Edmonton. Because our desserts are fresh, delicate, and often require refrigeration, we currently offer local delivery only and do not offer Canada-wide shipping at this time.
1. Local Delivery Only
Emberly Bakery currently offers local delivery in Edmonton and nearby areas only.
We do not currently ship our fresh desserts across Canada or internationally. This helps us protect the quality, freshness, and safety of every order.
Delivery availability and fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
2. Delivery Area
We offer local delivery across Edmonton and nearby areas, depending on distance, availability, and order volume.
Our delivery area may include:
- Edmonton
- Sherwood Park
- St. Albert
- Fort Saskatchewan
- Beaumont
- Leduc
- Spruce Grove
- Stony Plain
If your address is outside our standard delivery area, you may contact us before placing your order to confirm if delivery is possible.
3. Order Processing
- All desserts are made fresh to order.
- We do not ship or deliver pre-made stock.
- Most orders require preparation time before delivery.
- Order preparation may vary depending on product type, order size, and current order volume.
- During busy periods, holidays, or special promotions, preparation and delivery times may be extended.
If there is a significant delay with your order, we will contact you using the email or phone number provided at checkout.
4. Same-Day & Next-Day Delivery
Same-day delivery may be available for select products and addresses within Edmonton, depending on availability.
- Orders placed earlier in the day may be eligible for same-day delivery.
- Orders placed later in the day are usually delivered the next day or on the next available delivery date.
- Same-day delivery is not guaranteed and depends on product availability, preparation time, driver availability, and delivery distance.
Your delivery window will be confirmed after your order is placed and when start processed, or we may contact you directly if we need to arrange a suitable delivery time.
5. Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and distance from our preparation location.
Any promotional delivery offers, discounts, or free delivery promotions will be clearly displayed on our website or applied at checkout when eligible.
6. Receiving Your Order
Please make sure someone is available to receive the order during the confirmed delivery window.
Because our desserts are fresh and may require refrigeration, we recommend placing them in the fridge as soon as possible after delivery.
If no one is available at the time of delivery, we may leave the order in a safe location if possible. Emberly Bakery is not responsible for products that are left outside for an extended period after delivery.
7. Refrigerated Products & Freshness
- Many of our desserts must be kept refrigerated.
- Most fresh desserts are best enjoyed within 2–3 days.
- Emberly Bakery is not responsible for products that spoil due to improper storage after delivery.
8. Pickup
Emberly Bakery is not a walk-in bakery. All orders must be placed online in advance, and any pickup must be confirmed with us.
9. Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Address
Please make sure your delivery address, phone number, and email address are correct before placing your order.
Emberly Bakery is not responsible for delivery delays, failed deliveries, or quality issues caused by an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer.
If an order must be re-delivered because of incorrect information, an additional delivery fee may apply.
10. Delivery Issues or Damaged Orders
We package every order with care to help ensure it arrives fresh and in good condition.
If there is an issue with your delivery or your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Please include your order number, a short description of the issue, and photos if applicable. We will review the situation and may offer a replacement, store credit, or another solution depending on the circumstances.
